HA'Aki

HA'Aki est un court métrage d'abstraction impressionniste, où animation et musique s'inscrivent en simultanéité dans un processus organique de symbiose créatrice. La cinéaste Iriz Pääbo crée un nouveau vocabulaire cinématographique, qu'elle a baptisé «animbits», pour relater l'histoire extrêmement suggestive d'une partie de hockey. N'étant pas elle-même une grande passionnée du sport national du Canada, comme elle l'avoue volontiers, Iriz Pääbo a demandé à Eric Nesterenko, excellent joueur de la LNH des années 1960 et 1970 au parcours non conformiste, de lui servir de guide dans cette aventure artistique. HA'Aki est la représentation imagée et fantaisiste du hockey tel qu'il se joue dans l'imaginaire d'une poète de l'animation brillamment inspirée. Film sans paroles.
